With over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher and an Art Specialist, I see creativity and yoga as powerful tools for self-discovery, expression, and transformation. I am curious about the ways in which our experiences shape who we become — influencing our behaviours, perspectives, and ways of being.
My journey into yoga began in childhood, when I would join my mum in practicing yoga at home with her DVDs. Back then, I didn’t fully understand the significance of her practice—I just enjoyed the quiet moments of calm we shared before our busy house woke up. My mum’s dedication to showing up on the mat amidst the chaos of daily life became a quiet but powerful inspiration for me. That foundation has shaped my own journey, and first and foremost, I see myself as a committed and inquisitive student of yoga.
As a yoga teacher, I have a comprehensive foundation in traditional training, integrating both Hatha and Tantric principles. I’ve been teaching yoga for five years, hosting retreats, women’s circles, and creative workshops for people from all over the world. My teaching style is simple and accessible, yet deeply rooted in an immersive study of yogic philosophy and Vedic texts. I approach each class with thoughtful consideration, ensuring that my teachings respect tradition while honouring our diverse needs, creating a welcoming space where everyone can feel supported on their journey.
