My journey into yoga began as a child when I used to join my mum in practicing yoga at home with her DVDs. Back then, I didn't fully understand the significance of her practice; I just enjoyed the special moments of calm it gave us together before our busy house woke up. Her commitment to practice amidst the chaos of our household has been my source of inspiration throughout my own yoga journey. First and foremost, I view myself as a committed and inquisitive student of yoga. My daily practice is essential to me, as it allows me to guide others authentically, drawing on deeply personal, time-tested methods that reach far beyond book knowledge.

As a yoga teacher, I have a comprehensive foundation in traditional training from The Practice, integrating both Hatha and Tantra principles. My teaching style is simple and accessible, yet deeply rooted in an immersive study of Vedic texts and yogic philosophy. They draw from the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, as well as the paths of Bhakti, Jnana, and Tantric Yoga.

With over 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher and a Master’s degree in Art Education, Culture, and Practice from UCL, I am deeply aware of how childhood experiences shape who we become as adults, influencing our behaviours, perspectives and ways of being. I approach each class with a thoughtful consideration of the individual factors that shape our lives, ensuring that my teaching respects and meets the diverse needs and unique experiences of everyone, creating a welcoming space where everyone can grow, and feel seen on their journey.
